Battalion Chief (Ret) David Gibson has served 35 years in an array of areas during his career since joining the El Cerrito Fire Department in 1985. Chief Gibson promoted throughout the ranks and served as Fire Marshal, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Training Director, EMS Director and CERT Director. Additionally, Chief Gibson has served as a Type III Incident Commander for the East Bay Incident Command Team, Past President of the CCC Training and Safety Officers' Association & Past President of the CCC Fire Chiefs Association.
